Inver Grove Heights Community Theatre's second production was "Cabaret," based on the book by Joe Masteroff, with music and lyrics created by John Kander and Fred Ebb. Christopher Teipner directed the show, and wrote for the playbill,"...This tale is still as powerful today as it was when first told in the late 60s. The fact that if we aren't aware, the world can change us forever!" Funding for the show was provided by IGH Community Education. Cabaret ran Thursdays through Sundays from August 2 – August 11, 2019. Over 50 community members took part in the production, either onstage or behind-the-scenes.
