2018 - Little Shop of Horrors
2018 - Little Shop of Horrors
As Inver Grove Heights Community Theatre's inaugural production, Howard Ashman's "Little Shop of Horrors," was a perfect mix of campy humor along with a generous dollop of Motown and doo-wop songs. Director Jim Davis wrote for the playbill,"...I wanted to be sure that our first show was one that took skill and talent, and would utilize every aspect of theatre arts." Funding for the show came from IGH Community Education, as well as a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council. Additional funds for ASL interpretation were provided through a grant from the River Heights Arts Alliance. The show ran Thursdays through Sundays from August 3 – August 12, 2018. Over 50 community members took part in some aspect of the production.
